50 Years of Giving Back.  Since its founding in 1965, Miller Legg has been active in supporting various charity and community organizations. In conjunction with our 50th year anniversary, and in support of our mission “Improving Communities, Creating Environments”, we launched a company-wide volunteerism program, “50 Years of Community Giving”, in which all staff were encouraged to donate 50 volunteer hours between August 1, 2014 to April 1, 2015. Miller Leggers volunteered with other family members, clients and friends to clean up beaches, collect toys, donate food and backpacks, sponsor pizza parties for foster children, and more. Since the giving back program was initiated, more than 700 hours were donated by Miller Legg staff.

These volunteer hours covered unique community events, including (to name a few):

Habitat for Humanity Broward County 

Food Drive(s) – Bread of Life & EASE Foundation 

West Lake Waterway Cleanup (with Girl Scouts)

EASE Foundation Backpack & Toy Drive

Children’s Harbor Pizza Party 

Gumbo Limbo International Coastal Conservancy Cleanup
