Oakland Park Wag Dog Park

City of Oakland Park Wag Dog Park

This 1-acre Wag Dog Park at Oakland Park’s Richard E. Giusti Heart Par Cours Park, was designed to accommodate the growing population of small and large dogs in the City’s eastside. Miller Legg’s design for Wag Dog Park includes landscape improvements, tree additions, canopy shelters, water stations, pet waste stations, benches and asphalt walking paths.

To facilitate Wag Dog Park, off-street parking along NE 6th Avenue and NE 36th Street, sidewalk improvements, and modifications to the existing jogging trail were also designed. Miller Legg provided landscape architecture, engineering, surveying, and construction administration services. This project was performed under Miller Legg’s Continuing Services Contract.
