Victoria Park Development of Regional Impact (DRI) & Environmental Services
This project concerned a ±1,859-acre multi-use Development of Regional Impact (DRI #698-06) located in southern Volusia County, Florida. Miller Legg conducted a Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessment, Habitat Restoration, Management, and Monitoring of sand hill cranes and scrub jays, gopher tortoise relocation, public education (interpretive trail design). Miller Legg also handled the development of irrigation designs for a variety of residential and recreational areas within the ±1,859-acre phased development in Deland. In addition to design activities, coordination and associated testing for irrigation installation activities as well as installation and establishment of the Maxicom central computer control system.
